Acting President of Sohag University meets a student delegation from “Canada and Serbia” This morning, Dr. Mostafa Abdel-Khaleq, Acting President of Sohag University, held a meeting with the student delegation coming from the Republics of Canada and Serbia, within the framework of the student exchange program of the Egyptian Federation for Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the University Council Hall in the old campus, in the presence of Dr. Magdy El-Qadi, in charge of the Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Mahmoud El-Amir, supervisor of the Egyptian Pharmacy Students’ Federation office, Parviz Sedragy, a Canadian student, Ogine Evtech, a Serbian student, Nada Ahmed Aziz, Mohamed Zaghloul Abdel-Ghani in the fifth year of the faculty, and Walid Mohamed El-Taher, head of the Egyptian Pharmacy Students’ Federation office, EPSF – Sohag.

Dr. Mustafa Abdel-Khaleq said that the meeting reviewed a set of research activities presented by the student delegation from Canada and Serbia, with the aim of exchanging practical and training experiences with college students, and contacting other cultures to expand their human perceptions and get to know the rest of the world’s nationalities. For his part, Dr. Magdy El-Kady said that the training program for international students includes visits to the Oncology Institute in Sohag over a period of two weeks, in addition to conducting research activities within the laboratories of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the university.

Dr. Mahmoud El-Amir added that the meeting comes within the framework of the student exchange program organized by the Egyptian Union Office for Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university, from 1 to 28 August, hosting a number of students from Canada and Serbia, and organizing a tourist trip to visit the archaeological and historical monuments in Sohag governorates.
