Vision
Faculty of Pharmacy Library strives to make an effective and influential contribution to providing services for the educational and research process within the faculty and the surrounding community. We aspire to be a prestigious university library that creatively and innovatively utilizes information and communication resources and technologies to create an information environment that is available across the physical space and the digital virtual space to serve the various educational, research and intellectual needs of beneficiaries
Mission
The mission of Faculty of Pharmacy Library is to elevate the level of performance in providing library services and meeting needs in the fields of education, learning, scientific research, and community service. We also strive to be a hub for information services at Sohag University by collecting, organizing, and disseminating information Enriching and improving access to information sources, services, and learning materials and media wherever they exist, to enhance the efficiency and quality of the educational and research process and to serve the community
This is achieved through:
- First: Providing books, references, recent periodicals, and other publications, as well as various audio-visual resources.
- Second: Facilitating access to the library’s holdings through browsing, borrowing, photocopying, and searching the electronic database for the staff members, their assistants, researchers, and studentsFrom within and outside the library, as quickly and accurately as possible, within the limits of the relevant regulations and laws.
- Third: Strengthening relationships through exchange and donation in the field of library and information science between the library and other libraries and institutions that serve the educational and research process in general.

Library Sections
- Faculty of Pharmacy Library at Sohag University contains specialized scientific books in the field of pharmacy and its various sections: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Microbiology and Immunology, and General Books.
- The library currently holds 203 books, and more are being added

Objectives
- To help students utilize the available resources in the study room by providing a quiet and comfortable environment to help them complete their tasks as quickly as possible.
- To fill free time between lectures at the college

- To expand the study halls to include more than one room.
- To provide services such as computers connected to the internet.
- To create a quiet environment conducive to studying through air conditioning.
- The study halls serve as an effective practical model demonstrating the faculty advanced academic standing
