Mission

The Department of Student Affairs at the College seeks to contribute to building the students’ personality in a fair and balanced manner, while creating an attractive university environment and stimulating programs to contribute to the development of skills and abilities for students to be active members of society.

Objectives

1- Providing services and supportive care for students in accordance with quality standards.

2- Strengthening the relationship between management, graduates and the labor market.

3- Building controls and executive rules for student services and guidance.

4- The administrative quality of student affairs management units to meet the accreditation and quality requirements.

5- Seeking to provide support to students.

6- Advance students’ ability to adapt and conform to the local environment inside and outside the university.

7- Enhancing a sense of belonging to the college, university and country.

Mission 

1- Enroll the student in the college after completing his papers and paying the prescribed fees.

2- Preparing medical examination papers for new students.

3- Preparing a file for each student that contains all the papers related to him.

4- Preparing a special record in which to record what was included in his file.

5- Preparing the examination work, including tables, guides, seating numbers, locations, and all that the examinations need in terms of organizational and educational aspects.

6- Preparing lists of students’ names and their enrollment cases.

7- Preparing study and examination schedules.

8- Fulfilling the positions of the students recruiting.

9- Transfers works such as amendment of nomination, transfer of registration and transfer.

10- Preparing excellence rewards for outstanding students.

11- Preparing lists of students in the final year for their conscription treatment.

12- Issuance of registration certificates for those students who wish.

13- Reviewing the results of exams and announcing them to students after being approved by the College Council.

14- Issuance of graduation certificates after the student has obtained a bachelor’s degree.

15- Issuing certificates of grades for the years spent by the student in the college, whether in Arabic or foreign languages.

16- In addition, the Student Affairs Department performs all the tasks assigned to it by the university president, the university vice president for education and student affairs, the college dean, and the college vice president for education and student affairs.

The Department of Student Affairs of the College of Pharmacy is located on the university campus, next to the services building in the University College Student Affairs Department complex in Sohag.
